You may be wondering...
Do I have to go plant-based to work with you?
The Vitality signature program is a plant-based holistic health and healing program. I will meet you where you're at, even if that just means adding more whole plant foods to your current nutrition. Some of my clients are already plant-based, but many are coming from another dietary path. To achieve the best, most-sustainable, health boosting and utterly transformational results, the focus will be on implementing plant-based nutrition. All nutritional advice provided by Vitality Holistic Fitness will be plant-based (and backed by evidence-based science as well as anecdotal evidence), but a client always retains the autonomy to nourish themselves the way that best aligns with their goals and purpose.
Your home-page says you work with women. Do you work with men?
It's a little more nuanced than yes or no. The Vitality program is offered to women only due to the type of training and the fact that there may be group collaboration at times. The Vitality program is my primary offering and allows me to serve my clients and provide transformational results in a meaningful way. That being said, there may be times where my schedule allows me to take on clients that may want to sign up for individual or bundled programs. In these circumstances, I am able to accept men as clients and work with them on their personal health and wellness goals.
What's the Vitality program like?
This program is structured but also client-led. There is weekly instruction and information to provide you with tools and resources to guide you on your health and healing journey. We focus on what is feeling most important to you and we can always pivot. If there is an aspect that is not feeling relevant to you, then we can absolutely focus on something that is meaningful for you.
Do you take health insurance?
Part of my motive behind obtaining national board certification is to help make services more attainable for my clients. Research has found that health outcomes are improved when a patient seeks professional health and wellness coaching. Since this is proving to be beneficial, there are currently three temporary CPT codes used by coaches that have acquired NB-HWC certification. As of right now, you would need to check with your insurance to see if this is a service your insurance would cover and to what extent.
Additionally, I have partnered with TrueMed which may allow clients to use a Health Savings Account or a Flexible Spend Account to cover some or all of their services. More information regarding the process of obtaining a letter of medical necessity can be provided if this is of interest to you!
Insurance can be unpredictable at times and it is best that a prospective client be aware of the investment you are making in your health and proceed with confidence that this can be made without insurance. Adjustments to pricing or enrollment status cannot be made based on changes from external sources such as insurance or spend accounts. Coverage by or reimbursement by insurance should be viewed only as the proverbial icing on the cake, if you will.
