Why Driving and Travel Can Trigger a Migraine Attack (And What You Can Do About It)
For many people with migraine, one of the most confusing triggers is driving. You're sitting in one place, minding your own business. Tooling along to your destination. Then the migraine tingle or pressure sits in. Maybe some light sensitivity or nausea. Before you know it, you're ready to pull over or turn around... except.. most of the time, that's not really an option. If you're familiar with this, know that I have been through this also, and you're certainly not alone!

Why you shouldn't be focusing on macros and you should be focusing on these...
I'm about to get real with y'all... If calories and macros were the key to healing, you wouldn’t still be dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, gut issues, or inflammation. Sadly, most nutrition advice today in the health and fitness space revolves around restriction, macros, or the newer "eat whatever you want and you can look and feel great" mantra. Unfortunately, for anyone that's been struggling with actual-life limiting symptoms, we know this advice is garbage. We find our

The Brain/Food Connection- How food shapes our mood, energy, & clarity - With Sam Salmon
If you’ve been listening to health advice online for years, I get it. At some point it all starts to blur together. One person says sugar is the enemy. Another says fruit is the problem. Someone else says you need 37 supplements and a $900 lab panel to feel better. And meanwhile… you’re still tired, foggy, and not feeling at all like yourself :-( So today I want to share a conversation I had that I think you’re really going to appreciate. I went live as part of the Vegan Heal

When Eating "Healthy" Leaves You High and Dry
Most nutrition advice today sounds something like this: Eat clean, track your food, be consistent, try harder. When that doesn't work, the implication is that you must be doing something wrong. But what if the problem isn’t you? What if the problem is that most nutrition advice is designed for bodies that are already functioning relatively well and not bodies that are inflamed, overwhelmed, and stuck in survival mode? Why “Healthy Eating” Often Isn’t Enough Most of us were t

The 4 Phases You Need to Heal Chronic Symptoms- Support your body, reduce pain, and increase energy
Can I tell you a secret? Healing isn’t about doing all the things or forcing your body into submission. It’s not about running every lab test, bouncing from supplement to supplement, or trying to overpower symptoms until they finally give in. True healing happens when the body feels safe, supported, and resourced enough to do what it was designed to do. For years, I searched for answers the hard way... chasing symptoms, trying diets, medications, supplements, and therapies. A

The Liver’s Role in Pain, Fatigue, and Chronic Symptoms
If you’ve been dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, gut issues, or a collection of symptoms that don’t seem to fit neatly into one diagnosis, this conversation is for you. Many women I work with have already “done everything right.” They’ve changed their diet. They’ve tried supplements. They’ve run labs. And at the end of the day, they feel like they're running in place and getting absolutely nowhere. One of the most overlooked reasons this happens is because the

My Healing Story: From Chronic Pain, Fatigue, and Migraine to Getting My Life Back
If you’ve ever felt unsure who to trust on your healing journey, I understand that deeply. I remember talking to medical professionals who had years of education and training, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that they didn’t truly understand what I was experiencing. They hadn’t lived in my body. They hadn’t felt the daily discomfort, the exhaustion, or the quiet fear of wondering if this was just how life was going to be. That’s why I want to share my story with you. Growing

Why trying harder won't relieve chronic pain or fatigue (and what will)
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything “right” but you’re still dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, or gut issues that just won’t resolve, you’re not alone. Been there, done that, got the commemorative mug. So many of us reach a point where we feel exhausted, frustrated, and confused. We've tried elimination diets. They’ve taken supplements. They’ve used prescription medications. Sometimes we try one thing at a time and sometimes we throw the kitchen sin

You're Not Broken - What chronic pain and fatigue are trying to tell you
If you’ve been living with chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, gut issues, hormone symptoms, or a constant feeling that something just isn’t right, it’s easy to start believing that your body is failing you. So many women that I work with and speak to quietly carry this belief. That their body is broken or that they’re doing something wrong. That they just haven’t found the right diagnosis, supplement, or protocol yet. But what if none of that is true? What if your body isn’t b
